Unbelievable but true

I've owned my camper since 2013, I realised today that unbelievably I don’t know the registration number

 

Slightly longer 2007 and don't know mine Bazza

 

I bet you know the reg of your first car. Mine was BOK 554C

You'll get me started on parking machines that need your reg number with that sort of talk. The ruddy miles I've put in thanks to them.

I even remember the Reg of my dads Austin Cambridge which he bought in 1968/69 it was 537D

 

Strangely I am the opposite - I can remember the regs of most if not all the vehicles I have owned over the last 50 years - although to be fair I have only owned about 20 - the first was VV4766 a 1936 Morris 8 tourer I had in 1964. I surprised a friend of mine recently when I told him the reg of his dads Austin 10 from 1950s - HVK14 ( It sat on his drive opposite my bedroom window. )

 

I remember my phone number as a kid . 368-2337. Or 368-BEER. That and Vw bus part numbers I'll never need in the real world .

Ooh. My dad’s Mini Cooper S was BOF 492C. Not far off.

 

Spooky Mine was a Mini 850.

 

My first car was HVK112K,a Renault 4. Fantastic vehicle!

I think if you like your number you'll remember it.. We had school numbers anyone remember theirs. Mine was 5690. Didn't mind school to be honest but lost out on brains.
1959 Beetle was 9730.. then a LDV Buggy
1973 Westy was PJM 165L now 955... GBG
1963 1500S KKB 290 Kenyan reg.
Haven't a clue what my daily Micra number is. Just about remember my PIN theze daze.
