Ulwell Cottage Carvan Park Dorset

  1. Just had a week here. Quite expensive but has an indoor pool for the kids and an excellent toilet block. Im sure it wouldn't suit some who prefer an open field and a hedge to pee in but for a bit of glamping and convenience it suited us. It was about a mile to walk into swanage and would stay again. I didnt go to the herston campsite as already posted on here but that was also well located and would be tempted to try that next. Site was really well located for a walk to corfe castle with a train ride back and also direct access to the old harry rocks path.

  2. Been recommended to me by others also :)

  3. Spent three long weekends there already - so that speaks for itself! There's some great walks from the site to Corfe, Studland, Harry's Rock and it only a 1 mile walk into Swanage. Mind you I did notice that you can park next to the beach overnight for £8 so worth beating in mind if your shot on funds and like to be beside the sea side!

  4. Can only agree with what has been said already - fantastic spot to stay - and a lovely walk also at Durlston Country Park.

Just been there in November 2018. Shop shut 5th Nov for the season, the bar and restaurant and swimming pool were still open. Restaurant not cheap about same as yottie prices in Hamble.
Off season £18/night with hookup and use of swimming pool.
Gravel pitch .. cheaper than Camping and Caravanning club.
Walked down to Swanage 30 mins slowly looking at views.
Bought Freedom of the Line tickets on the steam railway (£21 each) dodged rain showers by taking train rides.
