    For about the last 5 yrs the media have been bleating on that were gonna have the worst winter "since records began on Thursday in 1989 " blah blah. They haven't got a chuffinn clue. Load of bull.

    About right. The one and only time I flew a plane we had to do a sharp pull up on approach because the air ambulance was scrambled.

    I overheard in early May a couple discussing how the papers had said it was gonna be the hottest summer since the Indian summer of the late 70's.
    Just thought ***** and knew it would be crap, Portugal and Spain however lived up to expectations :)
