I had to get 4 new tyres today bummer i thought but £198 result for 4 uniroyal tyres 195 65 15, as my old tyres lasted 9 years oh yea 9 years which i thought was amazing , Ive now checked my golf and need 2 tyres so went back to the dealer who i got my bue tyres from this morning hopeing he would help me out when he asked trye size and brand which is mitchelin 205 55 16 he told me £80 each ??? i nearly passed out looking at at other options now .......
those tyres are 2% smaller than a stock wheel and tyre that's not going to help your MPG or top speed

Meant to say, you want to look for 215s. That'll make the 205s seem reasonable. Last time I looked they were about £20 more per tyre.
