Tyres?! Which???

  1. Surprised there's not a sticky post yet.... I'm about to fork out for some 15" SSP or BRM alloys

    Lots of stuff on the web about speed & load, and even ply?

    Is there a definitive 'what I need' for 15" on a '77 LateBay?

    I'm looking at (I think 185/65?) then do I need a 92 load rating?

    I'm also using in winter, so was going to opt for either winter, or all season tyres, like these;

    Thought, comments??

    There are some 185/65R15 load rated tyres out there, but when I go to ATS Euromaster because they are just down the road from work, they only ever offer me

    Pirelli Cinturato P1 load rating 92 but actually 630kg per tyre rating marked on the sidewall.

    I have used these for probably about 20-30k miles (not all the same tyres because the tracking was wrong.. )

    Get the front tracking fixed and try to sort out the rear camber or you will lose the inside tread on your new tyres before the little rubber pips have even worn off the sides ...

    The ATS guys managed the front tracking when I left the Bentley service manual open on the right page for them.
