Tyre size and make, any recommendations?

  2. I totally agree ...4.5 is not man enough for a bay, he doesn't` say if he still has front bump stops .... a 15" wheel with 185 60 15s would work if he has bump stops on the front and

    if it was me I`d bin the HorseShoe plates and go a single spline down on the rear and fit 195 70 15 rear tyres .........this is the set up I have

    Agreed, but he said it was lowered 9cm, that’s more than the suspension travel before it hits the bump stop so if he still has them he has no suspension at all.

    I`d bin the horseshoe plates too – we both have one spline down at the rear with 195/70x15 tyres.

    There should be a law against selling horseshoe plates, and that coil-over front suspension kit that puts the entire load into the damper mounts. But while there are people prepared to buy them they’ll be people prepared to sell them.

  4. The bump stops have gone and I have gas shocks, no issues in removing the horseshoe brackets as suggested

  5. I have Hankook 195 (80) 14 which are much better than my previous thinner ones in high winds
