Hello I have a set of 14in Weller's . They are 14*6 what tyres would be best . I'm thinking 185:70:14 rears 185:60:14 fronts Would this work Thanks for any information Simon
They’ll work in as much that the tyre will fit on the wheel, but: 185/70x14 rears – smaller than standard, the engine will rev more and you’ll probably use more fuel. 185/60x14 fronts – much smaller than standard, the speedo will indicate that you’re going faster than you really are and the miles will clock up faster. And the little tyre will look silly in the wheel arch. 205/70x14 are close to standard diameter and will fit on 14x6 wheels but what’s wrong with using standard size tyres (185/80x14)? Assuming you haven’t messed with the suspension of course.
