TYPE4 CSP bell crank fitting help needed

Hi All,

just in the process of fitting my CSP bell crank to my type 4 with twin weber IDF and for the life of me cannot figure out what the piece on the left of my hand is for? It does not appear to show it in the instructions, unless I am missing something here! Thos is for the left hand Carb.
Any advice and help welcomed.

Can we assume you already have equivalent parts on your carbs? In that case they are redundant.
