Type 4 thermostat

Does anyone know were i can get a thermostat from for a type 4 engine? i will also need the mounting bracket, cable and the wheel that the wire runs on.

 

I have a wheel, the bolt for the wheel a cable and pretty sure I have a bracket to. No thermostat though

 

You can mod a bellows type 1 stat to work with a type 4 - have a look on rat well.

the ones from heritage work a treat and the "modification" they mention from type 1 to type 4 is only unscrewing a little bush and sticking on one for a type 4 so not hard at all.

 

As long as you have a broken T4 thermostat to nick the connector off.

 

i think i have a broken thermostat too, and the connector should still be on it though mega bug used to sell the newere style thermostat for about a 1/3 of heritage or jk

 

Deffo have a broken thermostat if you get stuck
