Type 4 Inlet Manifolds DRLA Carbs

Looking at getting some Dellorto Drla 40s for 2ltr type 4. Are there any recommendations as to which inlet manifolds to purchase?
CSP do long and short versions, am I correct in thinking that the short ones would not be suitable for a bus?

 

Long for torque at low revs, short for BHP at high revs.

If anyone has a spare set because they’ve fitted larger carbs there are probably a couple of people interested in purchasing them, or I’ll swap my 45mm free.

 

Thanks for the info. I'll contact Eurocarb next week and try and find out if they are going to get any in stock soon.
