Is the type 4 crank gear shaft roller bearing a serviceable part? I've only just noticed it

It was looking a little dry so I gave it a drop of engine oil, exercised it a bit, then removed the excess. Would grease be better? Would it be better to replace it with new (if possible)?

Easy to remove* and cheap to replace.

*Half fill the hole with grease and a sharp tap on a tight-fitting drift or wooden dowel and it will pop out.

I use p/n 056 105 313 C. It has an integral seal but extends slightly beyond the flange face and needs the flywheel to be machined for clearance. Pic from the Samba.

I ordered one of these today, plus a load of other bits. GSF have a 60% off Black Friday deal running at the moment!
