WANTED Type 4 Case Bolt

    I seem to have misplaced one of my case bolts. I have the nut and washer but no bolt. Would anyone have one going spare?

    M8, 13mm head, 50mm total length, 43mm threaded length

    Ah right. I wonder where the spare nut and washer have come from then. They all were in the "case bolts" takeaway tub :)

    I'm sure I'll find where eventually :D

    Found it! It's the pesky little stud that's tucked up under the flywheel flange, just below the cam end cap. I missed it when joining the case halves together o_O

    I now have somewhere to put my "spare" nut and washer :D

    Isnt that one of those case cracking nuts that you forget until you have either cracked the case metal or bent the screwdriver fighting from the other side ?

    There is an equivalent one buried in the grime on a T1 case..

    The only case cracker on a Type 4 is the strainer nut.
