Type 4 2 litre square port cylinder head - 37.5/33 valves, genuine VW not AMC

Pretty much as per the subject.

A used but genuine original 'square' exhaust port Type 4 head from a 2 litre engine. A relatively rare item since the square port heads were a last of line modification that overlapped from the very last of Baywindow production to the early T25's.

I will visually inspect the head for cracks in the combustion chamber and give it a quick clean but otherwise it will come as is, complete with all valves but no rocker gear.

If I was using this on my own engine I would remove all valves and thoroughly clean the head, inspect the valves and guides and at a minimum, re-lap all the valves .... I recommend the buyer does the same.

It will need new valve stem seals fitting prior to use.

Priced to sell at £125 (vs. £279 for a non-genuine, but new, item)

Price includes economy shipping but the shipment won't be covered for full value of £125.

Unfortunately so - my project engine had one square port and one oval port head on it!!
