Discussion in 'Late Bay Parts Classifieds' started by threecountiesdubber, Feb 20, 2013.

  1. Surplus to requirements. Came out of an engine I broke, engine had come out of a US bus and had been remanufactured by 'GEX' in the States (check the web, they do exist).

    Cam lobes are like new.

    £100 plus post.

I will post photo(s) in the next few days.

  3. Hi. I will double-check but from what I understand I think the hydraulic lifters/cam were only ever fitted to US-spec (Injected) 2.0 Litre motors (so GE, GD code etc.)

Cool, mine is GE code fuel injected so it sounds promising

  5. Check out the Ratwell article on hydraulic lifters:

Unless your engine has been remanufactured at some point, I suspect it should still have hydraulic lifters and the solid steel pushrods. However unless you can find any re-man stamps on the case you might have to pull a rocker assembly off to check??
