Two nights in Glasgow

  1. I'm off to Scotland in my bus next month for a bit of a road trip but it'll all start with my beloved football team playing Rangers in a pre-season friendly.

Has anyone got any experience of safe weekend parking spots in Glasgow? I'm looking for cheap/free rather than scenic - just somewhere close enough to Ibrox for a Saturday and Sunday night (though I'm happy to move the bus between locations each morning).

Google seems to suggest Subway stations (Kelvinbridge for example) or the People's Palace...but I'd welcome any other suggestions.

I asked my nephew - his response :

hmm, not really sure. You could park on Paisley Road West or Bellahouston Drive very close to Ibrox but not sure about campervan sites.

Sleep on the streets. Quite common up there, apparently.
