Had the whole parish out on the street like a herd of meerkats. Enough to rattle the door knocker, and I'd thought Mrs P had fallen out the bath. No sirens. Harrogate area. Rather stange
sonic booms, apparently. my FB timeline full of it from leeds folks. i didn't hear a thing and am only in saltaire
Almost certainly a couple of Typhoons scrambled from RAF Coningsby to intercept a stray plane over UK airspace. The same thing happened over Northants a few weeks back. As you say, chuffing loud!
The Yorkshire Free State is'nt turning out how we thought it would. Our thoughts were sonic booms, and as there are no commercial planes now capable, and as the RAF don't "play" at the weekend, we thought it'd be a scramble job. Thanks all peeps.
