Twin Weber 34 ICT Vacuum Pipe Caps

    My T2 has twin Weber 34 ICT Carburetors and a centrifugal distributor. After 7 years of ownership I have only just noticed that neither carburetors have the vacuum pipe caps fitted.
    My question is: With this configuration should the caps be fitted?

    Is it a 009 or similar if so it doesn't have a vaccum advance so therefore the vaccum pipes just need to be blanked off, if I'm wrong someone will be along to clip me around the ear and tell me I'm a cockney so and so :thumbsup:

    Yes they should be capped. Perhaps they've been blocked off some other way.
