Twin Weber 34 ic cold starts

    That's what Peter Burgess set up when it was rolling road tuned back in 2015.

    Its a 1911 type 4, weight matched con rods with the v notch, the piston / con rods have been matched to equal lengths and set so the opposing ones are as equal as possible. Unknown camshaft though :(
     
  2. :thumbsup: Sounds good. When i had the 1911 in the ICT’s had 145 main 165 airs and it ran well. They did have the F78 emulsions in however so i am surprised it did. o_O

    Its a nice motor to be fair, it is getting ready for a re run on the rollers among other things. Needs some fettling all around!

    It's a Dell thing. Euro versions have smaller progression holes than US versions so I drilled some of mine larger knowing they would still be smaller than every US carb.

  5. ^this on my Dells. The carbs sit directly on the manifolds, so soon warm up. Three squirts, and they start.

    Issue with twins is that the system can drain down if the van's left for a while, so you may need to crank a bit to pump fuel back into the system. An electric pump would fix this.
