Always been poor. There is a hill between us and the transmitter, so we have to point at West Midlands instead. I know everything that's happening in Birmingham, but not just down the road. Yes, I could get the East Midlands feed from iPlayer but it's a right faff to do so
Was on a site in Norfolk recently and a guy had got a massive tv aerial on a pole next to his van. He came over bragging about how many channels he could get. He thought he was still receiving analogue tv.
Unlike the FM and phone signal which is rubbish the tv works with just the cable but I can see the main tv mast for the area from upstairs
Use one of these little mag mount digital aerials on the van & usually get a decent amount of channels without break up or freezing in most places where digital tv signal is available.
I use to be able to pick up Dutch blue films on a black and white portable in Rochester when the weather was bad.
I used to have a tv in summer house that worked fine on anolog but since technology no can do cos house in way
Yeh but you need to lay on the floor to watch that but thinking about it saves on buying sette dunt it
Great reception here in West Lancs - we can see the transmitting aerial on Winter Hill (that's near Bolton). I won't give you a physics lesson about shorter waves and line of sight.
