Watching Silent Witness last night, I have been a great fan over the years. But one thing really annoys me.... Why do they insist on having to overlay a 'beep beep' sound when a cast member locks or unlocks their car. One of the leading roles drives a brand new Merc, I have never heard modern cars 'beep beep' when locked or unlocked. Any ideas why? I am going to write into Terry Wogan... He stills hosts 'Points of View'.. right?
I think you can programme them to beep if you really want them to. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the most annoying thing for me is that silly whirring noise they ALWAYS dub onto helicopter footage in news reports. Grrrrr!
same thing irritates me with message tones on tv when someone has a text...... does anyone still use the "sandard" nokia "beep beep" NO.
You mean the 'invitation to interrogation' signal... Not unlike the vibration alert, though that can be mitigated by never leaving the phone down on a hard surface.
And also in films when someone looks through binoculars they show it as two circles partly overlapping?! Every time I've ever looked through binoculars it's just one circle!! And another thing when they show cars having been on a journey they never have the foresight to warm the engine up before shooting the scene.... Invariably the exhaust gives the game away that the engine is cold! And ....
