Which is your favourite,I have a pipe dream that one day I would take on a beat the Eggheads single handed .university challenge leaves me open mouthed that someone even understands the questions never mind that they answer them
I like University Challenge even if I dont understand the questions. But sometimes I get a science question right and they dont so I enjoy the moment. Ah yes, Take your Pick and Box 13. Shall I open the box?
loved the News Quiz on R4 when Sandy Toksvig was compare...i quite like 8 out of 10 cats does countdown, but I'm not a regular watcher/listener....
BBC Radio 2 weekday mornings 10.29 am Ken Bruce's Pop Master. Does anyone remember Wilfred Pickles and Mabel at the table, must have been late fifties or early sixties. I think it must have been before Take your Pick or Double your Money appeared. Shows my age doesn't it?
Blockbusters, Never Mind the Buzzcocks. Ask the Family annoyed me, mostly because a lot of it seemed to be lateral thinking based which I'm not that good at, and the families being asked seemed to have had personality by passes. Much preferred The Golden Shot . "Bernie, the bolt!" Catchphrase ftw though On the radio my dad used to listen to Brain of Britain, but my favourite, although it was and still is more of a comedy quiz is Just a Minute. You can't beat it, just ask @Mrs Moosey
Does I'm sorry I haven't a clue count as a quiz show? If so, it beats everything hands down, at least it did when Humph ran it.
Couldn't beat a cheeky Lunch time spliff then going for gold in 1990/91 whilst dodging college So funny
