if you can see the lights on the towcar and the trailer is only small do you need the lights to work on the trailer?
dont know tbh....but provided the lights and number plate aren't obscured I don't see it being a problem unless driving at night
bloody caddy has this stupid canbus wiring? summat to do with using low wattage signals to the bulbs and bulb out warning lights etc, you can fit a relay to overcome this but i only tow my trailer to store it when not using it behind the camper so i can't be arsed with faff about wiring.
nope, the trailer has lights and as an ex lucas employee i have a rather large collection of trailerboards that fell into my shed.
all this additional technology is an arse....apparently it will detect a trailer connection automatically, provided you shell out for the right connector....just like the old plugs used to
true, the caddy forum is full of problems that people have had with aftermarket items, modern vehicles are a pain.
