Hi di hi campers! I'd like to buy a tow bar for my bus. Can anyone recommend the best place to buy one from please? It's got to be one which'll take a Thule bike rack thing (the one which attaches to ball of the towing ball bit), not sure if I need to specify that or not.
Hi, I've just had one fitted that I got from Watling Engineering near St Albans. It's a DIY job if you want, but I had a few teething issues, and the guys were really helpful and efficient. I've also got the Thule bike rack that goes on the tow ball. Tested it last weekend and it fitted with no problems at all. You can either take your van in for them to fit it, or they'll post it to you with instructions etc. Highly recommended. [EDIT] Here's a link. Keep an eye on fleabay if you don't mind used. I got a 70s Westfalia bar that holds my thule bike thingy nicely .
