Right fitting my towbar today One of the bolts has snapped it head so I put a nut on it but as I was tighting it up the capitve but in the chasis has spun so I only have one fixing in one side Do I a : don't worry about it I am not towing nothing heavy B: put a few welds from tow bar to the chasis Or c: any better ideas
I drilled straight through the chassis rail and put some threaded bar through. It means having a nut and washer in the engine bay. It was the middle one on mine so I had to have something as my bumper fixes through it as well as the tow bar. If it was the back one (near the petrol tank) I would have left it.
