Once drank 3/4 a bottle of Johnny walker black label then at midnight went out for a ride on mi XT500 because it seemed the right thing to do...
That was in the mid 80s - haven't touched whisky since .
Maybe I should give it another go but with a better quality libation... ??

I'd go for a better quality and less quantity.
Try Glenmorangie or a Speyside malt, they're good for beginners.

 

I prefer a glass of GlenYamamoto myself...
