Celebrations of mothers and motherhood can be traced back to the ancient Greeks and Romans, who held festivals in honor of the mother goddesses Rhea and Cybele, but the clearest modern precedent for Mother's Day is the early Christian festival known as “Mothering Sunday.” I hope that hasn’t caused any panic out there. Probably not, as it is a bit difficult to avoid all the restaurant deals and special offer emails in the weeks leading up to it! My Mum has just texted me happy birthday, which is worrying, because it’s tomorrow
Not here it isn't, not until the first Sunday in May. Where once again it will be totally ignored by the Famiglia Terrordales, we don't do these commercial celebrations. Anyway, have a good day all you Mothers.
