I reckon that there are going to be a lot of items ticked off over the next few weeks that have been on folk's lists for years. I've even been looking at the storage trays in my garage and wondering how long it will take to sort out all the screws into sizes and types. The problem is going to be motivating myself to do it because time feels very strange right now.
I started a list last Tuesday when I knew we were going to be in isolation for 14 days. I managed 4 of the 23 items before I got ill. I have a feeling I'll get time to tick stuff off the list but I need to try and not add to it. Yep, most of it is tidying, fixing or cleaning - that solar panel may get fitted one day Sent from my BND-L21 using Tapatalk
Mine mostly consists of home schooling, cleaning out the water butt (of malarial mosquitos ) and making the dinner. Not started lessons yet as I have to pick up my meds when chemist opens at 10 (where me and mini Tatt will probably need to queue). Day 1 of home schooling went ok though
Paint shed Build pergola for the vine that goes mad every year. Redecorate bedroom last touched in 1988. Board the loft. Clean disgusting oven. %age possibility of all the above being completed = 0 But at least I’ve made a list!
Just went out to the camper to make a list of what food is in there. Found a pack of fig rolls for me and malteser reindeers for Heather ...and some pasta... Sent from my BND-L21 using Tapatalk
Still desperately trying to find enough work to justify me ‘working from home’ but it’s getting harder so think my days are numbered before I get furloughed. Then it’s going to be engine out , few bits to sort out on that , tidy some body work ( on the camper ) or the other half may have me painting the hall stairs and landing plenty of time for it all I think
1. Sort out the fridge and freezer 2. Sort out the sideboard 3. Sort out the cupboards 4. Make some meals and freeze them 5. Get my work paperwork up to date and all invoices out 6. Clean the house 7. Tidy out the spare room 8. Finish tiling the end of bath storage and tile 9. Connect towel radiator 10. Put skirting behind bathroom radiator 11. Service boiler 12. Tidy garage 13. Empty van and put platform in so all the hoses etc, that get tangled up in other things when I’m trying to get them out, can go under there 14. Tidy my van out 15. Tidy my camper out 16. Tidy my Fiat out 17. Put up the shelves in the front room 18. Sort my books into read and un-read 19. Any other jobs Sarah gives me to do 20. Sit in the garden whilst it’s sunny and read (this is currently taking precedence over all other jobs ) 21. go for half hour walk to try and improve lung fitness 22. Panic every time I get a sore throat or start coughing
And next century ? Try not to cook too many meals for freezer ,it fills it up . I used to but now I cook meals using say mince , shepherds pie , lasagna , bolognese . Then fill your fridge with them and eat um up quick then make another batch . Have fun in the sun
Do you have any spares? Would need a dozen could latebay courier help, also a couple of pints of milk some eggs and a couple of packets of pasta would come in useful
