If you are living in the modern world, making use of a checklist is a powerful habit to embrace. So, Checklist Day is a great way to remind yourself how important these self-made reminders truly are. Interestingly enough, it is said that this day harkens back to some rather dark roots. During the 1930s, early aviators were searching for ways to allow flying to be much safer and avoid the all-too-common crash during takeoff. After several costly mishaps, one group of pilots came up with the idea to create a checklist before taxiing down the runway. It is said that the origins of Checklist Day can be traced back to this singular event. It seems a pretty basic thing for a pilot to have. I tend to increasingly rely on lists much more than memory
Not something that I do - which b explains why I sometimes forget to do things. Anyway - I let Mrs Cunny keep a checklist so we have everything we need when we go away.
A proper chap cannot have too many lists. I actually have a master list which lists my various lists.
I have checklists on my laptop for virtually every activity, I'm going racing on Sunday so have just printed off the "Enduro" list. Tick everything off when it goes in the car and I won't have to worry about forgetting my goggles, or paddock stand or 2 stroke oil etc
The owner of our local strip club has a lisp I went last night but it was clothed! Oh, list! Sorry, my eyesight isn’t what it was.
My other half is always making checklists, sha has checklists for checklists. The only time I use a checklist is when we are going away in Tilly then I check my list and adjust fot the place we are going to, I mean a road map for Nord Rhine Westfalia is not a lot of good around Brancaster and Stiffkey.
