Today is Be Late For Something Day

Are you one of those people who’s incredibly punctual? Are you enslaved to the clock and counting every minute? Do you consider letting yourself have one moment of leisure when you’re supposed to be somewhere something tantamount to a grievous sin? What’s wrong with you? You don’t need to be on time everywhere you go, you need to stop and smell the roses once in a while and realise it’s all just one long rush to the grave if you don’t take some time for yourself. Be Late For Something Day reminds us that sometimes, just sometimes, it’s ok to let things slide and not quite be on time.

Hardly ever on time. What’s the point?

Turning up three days late for an appointment doesn’t seem to bother the Spanish. And their country still just about functions. Good enough for me.

I hate being late, that's something Ms.T and I sometimes disagree on.

 

It depends a lot on what you are late for. If it’s for the bus, you missed it. If it’s to the cinema, you miss the start and annoy other people finding your seat. If it’s going to bed, who cares. If it’s for a meeting, it’s rude. If someone you are expecting is late, it’s annoying.

 

I work for AnB cars we are never late
(We just don't turn up at all).

 

One thing that always gets me about people who are always late ,
Mostly they leave work early if they can
Mostly they never seem to miss their plane to their holiday destination
Mostly they lie because they do come early
And they are the worst people on the planet if you are ever late for them.
Fortunately or unfortunately my teacher my mum taught me to never be late and always let the person your supposed to be with know if you are going to be . Waiting looking out of the window is something I always tend to do ( breed by her) when I know they are late people coming .
It’s nice when buses and transport is on time isn’t it
