...a great day for getting nothing done. Got out nice and early to get a rare full day on the van. 1) started on changing the fuel lines only to find every jubilee clip had turned so you couldnt see the screw head, all pipes were firmly stuck on with 34 years of crud. 2) checked voltage to the fuel pump while I was in the vicinity, (my suspected non starting problem), my meter gave a reading is began taking the pump harness apart to remove. Outlaw stopped by for an impromptu hello and his meter gave no reading. After a quick check my multimeter is dud. 3) moved onto fitting my inertia seatbelts only to find not all the fittings present so packed them back into their boxes 4) then moved onto fitting the stereo, only to realise I've lost the manual 5) tried to remove the top half of the r&r bed to begin proper installation of second fusebox / leisure electrics only to realise the last, (and most important screw), is tucked in a place where I can only reach if I take the whole bed out! 6) got frustrated with it all and have now lost the other bolts to the bed. 7) ended up helping the wife in the garden What a rubbish day, obstacles at every turn and then the final indignity of gardening! Leisurely rising from the pit, long breakfast with some lovely TLB friends and then a big lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng chill out/afternoon nap/ reading time. Blissful. Sorry you had a rubbish day MF. It'll go better next time I hope
Most enjoyable.. was awake at 3.30am. had a mid morning nap. cooked some sausage rolls, and made a jug of pimms and went to the street party,,, and the sun has been shinning..
