......Get your act together! In the summer months around this time of the year I look forward to a veritable harvest of lovely, juicy, fresh from the pod, sweet tasting peas. I can consume half a bag just putting the shopping away but to my utter dismay & quite frank disapointment the peas for the past couple of years have been (to put it bluntly) awful, not sweet at all, even though they look the part. Not your old pale green wrinkly ones-NO! The not too fat/not too flat, sweet looking ones-just awful! So come on peaple grow us some of the good stuff - I for one miss 'em!
