TLB courier TE to Northbound, please?

  1. Matt @pkrboo kindly collected an engine lid and a few other bits for me from Oxford and hopefully will be able to deliver them to this September's TE.

It highly unlikely that I'll be able to attend September's TE, I have an important birthday scheduled that weekend.

Is anyone willing and able to get said items somewhere, anywhere Northbound? Many thanks.

If it can be couriered close as possible to West Yorkshire or Lancashire (upper M6 corridor) that would be ideal, I am a fairly regular visitor to that area so they won't be a burden for too long. I should be able to handle the last leg myself.

Matt, thanks so far, and I haven't forgotten I owe you a couple of beers at next year's TE :hattip:

getting back to the Norwich game, it was the semi final of the league cup 1972, we traveled up by coach and uncle Roy got very drunk on double diamond, I don’t think he was much of a drinker, anyway back to the game Chelsea were already 2-0 down from the first game at the home of football, we were losing 3-0 then Alan Hudson scored two late goals making the score 5-2 on aggregate, with 6 minutes to go the Norfolk fog came down, norwich understandably wanted to finish the game but we sang “ call it off, call it off, call it off” which mr Taylor did, we traveled back to London very happy but 2 weeks later although Osgood scored we were out( I wasn’t allowed to go to the replay mum and dad were skint apparently, probably had to pay the providence man or Rent man, but I was allowed to listened to the game on our radiogram in the front room
    Hope that helps

A teacher asked the class to make a sentence using the word fascinate all the kids put their hands up and the teacher chose little Mandy in the front row and she said
“My family went to the zoo we saw all the animals which was fascinating “
The teacher said that was good but I said make a sentence using the word fascinate
She then chose young Rich in the back row of the class who said
“We went to Leeds and I bought a duffel coat but it was a bit tight , it had 11 buttons but I could only fasten 8”
