TLB courier service

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by carlot25, Sep 20, 2013.

  1. Hi, I don't know if this is already in operation so apologies. Why don't we start our own courier service? When one of us has the time spare we can offer to transfer a part in say a 50 mile radius to anyone else in the vacinity(don't want to risk breaking down!but doesn't have to be ours vans) So, i'm free throughout the day from 12-17:00 and i would be prepared to be then first volunteer.

    Anyone else?

I can help - in my job I travel quite a bit and if someone wants to contact me and bring the item to me I can help move it along, so i'm in!

  3. Cool. I was actually thinking of you as you answered the plight of the guy from Norwich.

I couldn't do everything on tlb I mean that would be silly and may get me the sack but if someone is genuinely struggling then I would do my best!

  5. That's why I think a courier Rota would be useful!

That's a pity! I have a trailer for Ploptop2. Do you have an angle grinder and a welder?;)

I'm coming back from Dover to Oxon on Sunday eve.

  14. And I have to go to Bewdley at some point which I believe is not far from where @rickyroo's sister was last seen?

Hold up TBR - I will be back on the Sandy run soon and me and the silver haired builder can meet up and save loads of hassle.

Thanks for thinking of me - pop in when you go to Bewdley, kettles always on

I'm just off the A1M at Sawtry. I'm going to Brightonbreeze and though BB could take it home with him. I'm thinking I might post it to Malc a piece at a time, just for laughs:D

  19. I would try and fit it, but I know that the rearmost captive nut on the chassis leg of the two holding on the bumper irons is fubarred, on both sides. The bumper irons are held on by some bodged bolt jammed in there, but if I take the irons off to fit the towbar, I'll need to get it fixed by having the captive nuts re-done. I think some hamfisted oik has crossthreaded the captive nuts at some point in the past.

  20. I'd be in. I don't travel much but I'd be willing to help where I can :)
