Time to introduce us

Discussion in 'Introduce Yourselves' started by 73baysteve, Jan 31, 2014.

  1. I've been on this forum for a few months now, but not really done much, but thinks its time to share Vera with you. We had been looking for a bay for a while and looked at various minters that generally weren't. But we came across Vera on Ebay in Brighton and within 24hrs we were the proud owners of a 73 late bay with a Devon interior and what looks like a Viking roof.

She has 3 folders of history and a photo resto, 88000 miles with all the mots and service history. Just had lots of welding but to mot standard before we brought it so decided on giving her a good tidy up and after a lot of enquiring I came across vintage auto repair and after speaking to Fletch, he now has her and is working his magic.
The Devon interior has come out and I have had a new interior built by Stirling Automotive in Newbury ready to go in with a 3/4 rock n roll bed, Waeco fridge and Smev sink & hob.

I have asked Fletch if he can add what he is doing to a resto thread and keep it updated.
Here's the this year, looking forward to getting out to a few shows with our new edition
