Time to do some work

Day 1, take dashboard out so I can see what welding needs are before I have new front glass.

Day 2, went space centre with my son and grand daughter


Day 3, time to do some more work lol.

Well you see I was an ex graffiti vandal/artist lol I did it all by myself. I had to sell my Xbox 360 to buy and not steel spray/lacquer wet & dry sand paper, tack clothes and a Mc Donald's breakfast. It wasn't my Bro who done it, he is up in the clouds with his pidgins tuesday_wildchildboy he is lol.

 

Day 4, mothers day breakfast made. Came out to see what the state of the wires are in, looks like I need to tidy that lot up.

 

Do you still want that window swap at techenders?

 

Yes that's still on my jobs list thank you for that heads up.

 

Just got back outside for an hour to take photo's and to tidy some wires

the missus will kill you when the deck chairs come back out in the summer...

 

That's actually not too bad. If you cleaned up all the rust staining you'd feel better about it. Small patch required each side on the inner surround so far.
You're going to take the window out new I assume? If yours has had a new front panel you might find that the inner was simply ignored and outer is fine. Or not. Only one way to find out...

 

I will take the glass out this week and see what is needed, am having new glass put in hence why I wanted to get to the rust and see what is needed. Not to bad then if that is all, but I think its going to get interesting when the glass comes out . Will keep you posted with more pictures as and when.
