I like wood carving, but what with family, work and tinkering on the bus I never seem to get the time at the moment. So I decided to have a go at pyrography - that's wood burning/etching. I got hold of a small burner/iron - no adustable heat but I can change the nibs. I'm starting small.....doing a few keyrings etc for some friends. What do you think? It's not perfect, but then my handwritings never been good anyway : I found it very theraputic
Morning hehe I like them, sweet, there used to be a guy in Doncaster that used the burn art on wood, he used to see Wooden handled skipping wrops and old fashioned chalk baords, and burn the childs Names on them for you, i got some christmas few years back, there's a idea for you.
