  1. Wow. An absolute steal...provided it wasn't stolen in the first place ^-^

  2. I'm not saying anything, but it's in Liverpool :))

  3. hmmmmmmm! - looks too good to be true for only £4500 - steer clear or insist on seeing the van in person. Do not hand over any cash even through Ebay escrow especially if the email asking you arrives outside of your ebay inbox

  5. for a moment I though it was the westy that was stolen from the VW Bullibarn in Colchester in October

I think there's a 1 missing off the beginning of the price, or it's a scam.

  8. If I was nearer, I'd arrange to go have a look. At that price it's almost worth the risk. As long as you were able to have a good look over it, check paper work an do one of those HPI checks you should be ok???????

  9. I'm quite interested in this. Is there anyone local who is willing to find out if its legit

  11. Sold, put it this way, it won't be that cheap when it's resisted on eBay next week
    :)

it's either a scam, stolen, someone who really doesn't realise these vans fetch stupid money, or they have just realised someone has grafted a big white mini to the front.

  14. There's no better saying than 'if it seems too good to be true.........'

This one clearly was a scam. And an obvious one too. Some scammers out there are very good though. You know, I saw an email sent to one of my clients last week, allegedly from HMRC about a tax repayment. The email's logo and general design exactly matched the genuine article. It really was identical and I can see how some folk fall for it - right down to where they type in their credit card details. Not sure why some folk wouldn't stop there to think 'why do HMRC need my credit card details to make a tax repayment?' or 'I wasn't expecting a tax repayment', but there you go. Many carry on and enter their card's details.

You think that's bad? Not half as bad as one guy I know who got scammed for a quarter of a million pounds.

  15. the Ebay email that purports to be from the classified listings people at ebay is a quality work of art too - I've seen it up close (see my older posts). As you say, if its too good to be true then it probably is.

  16. Thats exactly the same e-mail I got.. They sent me some nice photo's too.
I didnt get your e-mail though Dubious. It makes you wonder how many people they were trying to scam..

  17. Would love to see the photos
