Things that frustrate me.

  1. Has anyone else got a stack of used take away containers in the cupboard that fall all over the floor every time you go near them?

  2. Funny you should mention that, we don't have many takeaway meals so I cannot see why I open a particular kitchen cupboard i have to dig my way out of fallen containers, its as if they are breeding in there.

Why?? .... don't you realise that its compulsory after having a take away to sling the containers in the street.

  5. When I used to Taxi in town famous for its horseracing we used to have our rank on the high street near a takeaway chicken kebab shop.
One night I picked two "ladies" up with their bags of whatever and when one started to unwrap her midnight feast i politely asked them to not eat in the car.
I dropped one "lady" off and set off to the next one part way there she started munching so again" please do not eat in the car" when we got to her home she paid and said "I don't want that now you can have it" I replied no thank you take it home.
She got out and wobbled away on her high heels and horse and I saw she had politely left her chicken literally sat on the back seat.
I noticed where she had gone saw scooped up her chicken placed it in the box and then.

Stuffed it through her letter box.
Then cleaned the back seat and carried on.
Often wonder what she thought of next day when she saw the chicken chips and
    Salad on the floor.

Don’t you find them really useful for storing screws, nuts and bolts, fuses, fuel hose clips etc etc in the garage? They stack nicely, they can be labelled easily with a Sharpie, and they cost nothing!

  7. Got loads of butter containers used for the same job yes pretty useful

3 kids, random sized sandwhich boxes and lids, and plastic flasks, that fall out of the cupboard, when the door opens.
    Loads of it!

  12. You peeked in my garage, either that or you know i'm cheap...........

  13. I’ve got none but it’s not for trying. My dad pinched them all. He is a painting perfectionist and does all gloss with paint pads and thins the paint a lot. Normally At least two coats of undercoat both sanded perfectly smooth Take away containers are his pad tray of choice. All paint in the house is like a mirror and without any brush marks whatsoever. I know he will read this and try to deny he is a perfectionist but you are.;)

  15. Yep. And when it comes to the teetering pile of sandwich boxes, why why why are they not all standard sizes so all the lids fit each box? Only the lid that the box was born with will fit it, it seems.

  16. Nobody has a loft that big I mean spare parts for a bus! That is a whole warehouse full on their own.

  17. I’m having a garage built. Not for the bus but for the aforementioned spare parts...

For some reason we have a cupboard full of empty water bottles, all lined up like top-heavy skittles. The 1001 takeaway tubs are on the shelf above.

It's the Jenga cupboard, only to be opened with a steady hand and held breath!
