i guess what woody is saying is that it is a topic that will involve arguments...and may turn political, the banning of political style threads is going to be very difficult to police and could be turning the site even more nanny state..... i think it's impossible to seperate political from certain discussion - for example if i put "i blame the government" in here is this now political?

Ahh, the joys of the london transport system at night.

 

The decisions that we make, we make for the benefit of the board, we don't do it to stop people expressing their views or to create a nanny state. I like a good old argumentive thread because I find it funny reading how wound up people get about things but I voted to remove the threads because as a whole I believe it is the best way forward for the board. It would really help TLB if, even if you can't see the positive in the decision, not to be negative about it.
