Why do we traditionally wear the Wedding Ring on the fourth finger of the left hand? (except ze Germans don't I believe)

(It may be common knowledge, but someone said it to me a while back and I never knew till they told me)

 

Because its called the ring finger, putting something aptly named on your pinky finger in a wedding would be just wrong!

Alternatively, it is because the vein in that finger goes directly to the heart and so is considered loving etc.

Who know's, I went to Marwell Zoo, read a sign about saving the African Rhinos and it gave me a figure of how many are left.

I've just googled the figures and it's the African Black Rhinos...

 

Oh and there are 4 types of African Black Rhino, I am after the total population of all 4 combined.
