The summer solstice in Whitby

Dave ( Lord Congi ) After breaking down on route has gone to Whitby for a few days and yesterday I decided to join him for the Summer solstice, He uses a brilliant campsite right on the cliff top about half a mile out of the town, Amazing veiws, here's a few pictures I took on my phone of Whitby as the sun went down on the longest day

 

must go there one day ill put on the hit list

 

Love Whitby, especialy out of season when its quieter and the Old Town is dark and sort of spooky. )

currently broke down on the road that leads to the site :

 

I was there all last week, saw your van I think one day , in the distance in a car park

 

Yes blagged the breakdown truck driver to go the wrong way round the M60 ring road so he could give us a lift back as he would be passing me.
He sussed on the way back but was OKish about it
