I’m booked for fishing overnight tomorrow could be interesting

 

Lost the ivy and top of the wall to the wind. Too windy to chop it up as there's nowhere to put it. Probably a good few trailer loads to go.

Chopped a load of branches off the trees near the garage as the buggers were trying to lift the roofing sheets off.

 

Blowing like mad here and we’ve lost power
I can still have a brew though so no problem

Funs over now though just as I was topping the Tilley lamp up
looking forward to a night of talking and board games with the family the power came back on.

I wouldn’t say mental but it was quite strong few trees down etc but no loss of life I’ve heard of.

 

Good day to be in Halifax with winds gusting at 50/60 mph working 3 storey's up. Rain decided to go horizontal for about 5 minutes, quickest I have got soaked without jumping in a pool

Nah fella little para is doing a 5k race and me n Mrs para are helping with food and refreshments in the village hall.
We’re skint anyway

 

5k run is good reason, skint is not, you don’t need no money when amongst friends

 

I found it quite difficult to close my gate earlier !

 

Nice thought but it’s costly for us just to get there and back.
Hopefully we can make it in spring
