My take on the scene its meant to be a bit of fun and a generalisation of the scene. Spit vans Slammed to the ground and must be in original paint and on BRM wheels Owners having a mid life crises and as the vans are useless as a camper they camp in tents or awnings big enough to park the van in. Early bays Totally immiculate standard westys in magnolia Owners They really want a split and believe a prototype bay is a late spit , they sleep in the vans but live in the big awning, Pay people to do the work on the van. Late bays lowered a little but still usable and on fuch wheels Owners Want to use it to go camping but spend most of there time trying to fix the thing or its in a multi year restoration , Dont really care about the whole early/late thing T25 Just left as it is Owners Want a cheap camper with some qudos but with the least amount of hassle so they can get out and camp,They Like werthers sweets T4/5 Big wheels and a loud stereo Owners Having a mid life crises, Loud and not use to camping near people, spend most of the time telling people their vans have sole and its not a builders or exAA van
Ooo heck I must be having a Masive mid life crisis. I've got a split crew cab which I can't sleep in, in fact theres not a lot I can do in it And An old T5 builders van which I can sleep in but don't want to cos I'm too old to sleep in it and much prefer a cosy hotel room now. And a new beetle, Best left there.
