Prebooking shows is that like this weekend its been banging down I've been to Bigbang on now for the last four years and I love it and its seems Dubious is loving it now but i dont reckon much racing has been on, I've booked Camperjam but thats it, im just gonna wait and see if the weathers gonna be kind for other camps and shows and then just go, we were lucky at springcamp the weather was great leading up to it then it started changing on the friday, by monday night after we'd just left it snowed, no more prebooking for me
I guess it's always gamble. We've been lucky up until now with Elemental and Volksworld. Lets hope it picks up.
This is why I don't go to the big commercial shows. Seeing as some we're trying to sell their tickets this week because they couldn't go and trying to recoup the £90 or so for their family tickets it's why I won't pre booked the big ones. I kick myself if I book a £30 show or whatever BusStop Crowborough was last year but it's a close to home show and in aid of a charity. And I did go to that one last war. I left home in scorching sunshine. It then rained for the rest of Saturday.
i'm only booking the ones that you can't pay on the door, camperjam is it for me, doubt i'll do any others anyway.
Well its June and Im really glad I stuck to what I said in April ??? This year has been a washout with loads of shows and festivals cancelled I really hope its gets better soon coz I only prebooked Camperjam and with so many going from here it'd be terrible if it got called off at the last minute like Busstopover did last week
Looking at every cloud having a silver lining, If camperjam gets rained off at least I wont have to mend my trailor this year : : I bagsy theback of the convoy ;D
