Has parked half accross me driveway this morning. It will be one of them dickhead students again. Yes I can get out but only because I parked at an angle and not straight on. have rang the parking enforcement team left a message that Mrs TW has funeral visits to go to and cant get out. Lets see how quick they are. Think a call the the collage in next. Yours ******* off with crap drivers.
superglue a notice on his windscreen failing that, jack his driving wheels up, pop breeze blocks under so he goes nowhere fast
It was a bloody parent of the seventh day adventists school/church across the road. As she was getting in her car I went out and asked her to come round to the kerb side and asked her what it was. She reply "i know and won't do it again". I informed her my wife was a priest and had funerals/visits to do and asked how would she like it if she was kept waiting, at this point she left saying she would stay here being shouted at, believe me I was not shouting. I have now once again been and seen the headmistress, who once again apologised. As my conclusions were wrong I rang the collage back and apologised myself for being wrong this time. If its not one its the other.
Yes we have tow bar and that did enter my head but I did not want to cause damage as she had not to me. All things in equal measures or as equal as can be.
Similar thing happened here a couple of months ago. The new people down the road were having a party, cars everywhere I had the big crash rescue truck in the driveway, facing towards the street in case it was needed in a hurry. I wandered down to the new people & asked if it was one of their guests, the reply? "Yeah, so what it's not like you're going anywhere". I explained I needed to be able to get out in case if emergencies & was told to "F*** off Grandad" . Phoned the local copper but it would be an hour before they could get down here, so called a couple of mates from rescue & hatched a plan. When they arrived we unpacked the hydraulic cutting gear (which we use to cut cars apart in emergencies), fired up the lights & sirens, then waited. The guests from down the street came up to see what was happening & Rob & Mal told them that if the car wasn't moved we will move it ourselves & in little pieces. Just as the owner was pulling out from the kerb our local copper arrived, took one look at the driver & breathalised him, well over the limit so into the back of the cop car he went. Haven't had any trouble from them since, I get the feeling they know how well we are in with the cops & don't want to annoy us. It's always the same house, the owner has a knack of picking the scummiest tenants, last time it was a family of heroin & meth users & dealers.
We had a bit of a chuckle I must admit. They seem to have noticed that police & emergency vehicles visit quite often, I'm not sure they know exactly what I do
This kind of thing is common at our primary school, parents collecting kids. They park across drives, on the zig zag no parking lines and generally as close as they can possibly get to the gate to minimise the walk. Drives me mad, it takes about 1 minute to walk up from the main road where you can park without annoying anyone. The school has the local PCSOs around sometimes, but the yellow vests are a bit of a giveaway - should just get a plain clothes traffic warden and ticker the ****ers. Usual rule: the bigger / newer / flasher the car, the closer it has to get to the gate.
As A rule they don't cause a problem at drop off and pick up this was some extra thing going on so the women was away from her car for at least 30mins. Yes they park on the keep clear zig zags here but if I did and a child got hurt you can bet the parents would be leading the protest.
Take two squares of kitchen paper roll, soak with cooking oil and spread thinly over the culprits windscreen. The downside, there will be a delay before they can drive away! Tony
I suppose the ideal tit-for-tat would be to follow them home and dump Ruby across their driveway? That'd teach 'em.
