The nights are drawing in !!

    And I really dont like it :( This summer has been bad weather wise and now its coming to an end, gotta make the most of whats left before its dark at four o'clock again

    but on the bright side, 4 pm means winter camp longer drinky poos and earlier fires..... but yes you're right it's pretty grim here now at 8.30 and it just doesn't seem i've done much this year, deffo been a crappy summer weather wise but i've used my bus loads so it's swings and roundabouts.
     
  3. I dont either :( Ive been thinking about putting a floodlight in the garden why should we give up that easy. 8)

    I love the darker winter days/nights its proper flip flop wearing weather too in the winter
     
  8. And the LEDs can go on alot earlier so we do some serious light pollution,:)

  13. I'm looking forward to the end of our summer - temps in the mid to high 30s, even though it's a dry desert heat, can get wearing, and driving the bus around town means perspiration city!

    Forecast is for the temps to hit around 30c from next week, so that's hopefully the weather break :)

    Of course, give it a few months and I'll be annoyed with the snow and -10 to -20c temperatures :))

  16. I love the sun and can be a miserable so and so without it, but I really look forward to autumn and winter camping, it tests your inginuity and skills. Misty mornings and lots of campfires!

    Come on Woody, it's about developing a positive attitude or you just sink into a well of despair :)
