    Not cars buses bikes...

How many of us would pass an MOT if there was a human one?

Test criteria should be how do you feel everyday and how many things you do that you know cause you grief now and/or will mess up a healthy and active future?

  2. Too many slightly under sized red blood cells and an enlarged spleen (slowly getting better)

  3. With a couple of minor advisories that aren't really fixable but don't matter long term either. I can't imagine anyone who's nearly 50 having no advisories - in the wild I'd be dead by now.

  4. Recently had some exhaust problems but sorted now and running well.
Bodywork has been fettled but still in need of more work.

Has high water pressure issues but just needs monitoring.

Other than that not to bad for a 1965 model.

  5. I've got a dodgy knee that stops me running - even the private knee doctors couldn't fix it. :(

Just the 12? That's a bit half-hearted Owen - thought you was me mate. :)

Actually, I don't drink a lot - often. More of a binge drinker myself.

i suffer from head gasket pressure and some of my fuses are too short, this usually calms down once i take liquid on board, however then my exhaust blows loudly and my fuel system wakes me up to be emptied.

  10. ...Cat B write off, parts only...

  11. I suffer from a refusal to take things seriously. Flippancy, stupidity and a tendency to talk *****. I'm an idiot. Basically I'm a bit of an old banger.

  13. If they could see me through my eyes I would fail...but from the outside once a year I reckon I would fly through!

  16. Got a few miles on the clock and been around the block , had some repair work recently after a blow out on one of the shock absorbers ,headlights can dim sometimes but easily fixed by placing spectaculars on the hooter. Most of the headlining is missing but nothing a bit of a polish cant fix. Back firing on start up but runs well after pulling on the choke , good for another 12 months , no tax ,

  17. Probably fail on the emissions test.

  18. 6 former owners ,2 of which were psychopaths ,bodywork developing cracks ,suspension creaking ,carbe needs redwineredex ,seems to be backfiring constantly ,sadly, built in 1964 and still not tax exempt..

edit : and had to google spellings...

  19. Battery just won't hold a charge any more, starts with a push (has to be turned over a few times), outer bodywork holding up, good condition for year but cv and other joints shot to bits. Major resto booked for 4th October! :'(

  20. I just got an advisory - stay away from woodylubber and congi

    Bah!
