I know you'll say where's the pics. They're coming soon. But now, the bodywork looks brand new, the windows are in, seats are in, dash is in, wheels are on, headlights are in, and her new pumping heart of an engine is slowly going in. I'm really excited. Haven't felt like this in years! Today, for the first time, I felt like I owned a real bus. Before, I just felt like I owned a bag of bits which would never get finished. The big thing which did it for me today was seeing the bus with headlights, like little twinkling eyes, and the nice Fuchs wheels, like a nice new set of shoes. It felt like she's come alive all of a sudden. I guess it's a feeling shared by all other TLB members when they see a set of headlights on their own buses for the first time. I could have sworn she winked at me. In 2 to 3 weeks time I'm planning a 250 mile round trip down to Exeter. Can't wait. Coming together at last. I like those four words.
You realise now that you are legally obliged to post pictures the MOMENT you get them. Failure to do so will result in us sending Rickypoo around to, well, err, do something to you that probably wouldn't pass the swear filter on here.
I know exactly what you mean, today is the first time Luu came out of the garage in 18 months. I was like a proud parent :'( It really made me feel our deadline of SpringCamp could be possible after all ;D best of luck with your project
