or, yet another reason my inlaws bug the hell out of me. So yesterday my missus got a last minute cancellation for a hospital appointment at 2.30pm today. As I already had planned to help a mate today and i couldn't easily get out of it (due to him hiring some plant machinery for the day) her mum said she'd take her and do some shopping in town while she was waiting for her appointment to finish. At 3pm i get a call from her mum. She'd decided she's going home and i'll need to go and pick my missus up instead. The reason? As the appointment was running 30 minutes late she wasn't willing to put another couple of quid in the parking meter. Instead i had to leave my mate in the lurch and do a 40 mile round trip costing me a tenner in fuel. By the time i'd got back the hire place was shut which will mean getting charged for the cost of a second days hire. Inlaws are getting the bill (£70) for that one .

I like my mother in law as she has nothing to do with us and we only go see her when she about to die, which has happen a couple of times but she won't die ;D I have no father in law
Why did she not arrange a taxi or just pay the £2? I don't agree with the outlaw's decision but surely that would have been the better option?
