  4. Yep, it was under a pile of rotting chipboard and grey carpet;)
     
  5. Devon's cupboards are actually made of Shredded Wheat faced with melamine.

  7. ... + started when asked , handled well (eventually !) , smoother , lights and electrics weren`t assembled by lord Lucas - prince of darkness etc etc ...

    Loved my `68 Devon but swapped it in the mid 90`s for a feckin Metro (of all things..) `coz i needed transport .
    MUT 23F - i`m soooo sorry .

  19. Id say the talent not only is still here
    But theres lots of fresh and new ideas and a lot of young innovators

    We need someone to collect that talent and let it flourish

    All china does is copy the rest of the worlds stuff and makes it available cheaper

  20. I think it is being used. Was doing stand duty at an exhibition a good while back and Land Rover were opposite us. Got talking to them: I was surprised. We've still got tremendous talent, even in the automotive field. Just unfortunate that all the folk funding it are from abroad :(
